Ovulation symptoms

Hello,

I’ve had my implant out since Feb, but have only had proper periods and some sort of cycle back for a couple of months now. I’ve got ovulation tests that I got to put my mind at rest that I was ovulating as I wasn’t sure I could tell and about 6-7 weeks ago I got a ‘peak fertility’ smiley face which I was very happy with.

Im tracking periods, ovulation, DTD on a period tracking app- I don’t pay for it so it’s not great but it’s probably ok for now. But it told me I should be ovulating a couple of weeks ago and I did a test every few days with nothing. Eventually, a couple of days ago I got the ‘high fertility’ smiley face and since then I’ve had all sorts of weird symptoms- loose stool’s yesterday and again this morning, pink discharge yesterday and bleeding today with cramping and a bit of backache. The internet suggests this is all pretty normal but having had the implant for a fair number of years and the pill before then, I really have little/no experience of it!

Is this all normal? A good sign? A bad sign? I’m 36 and dp is 56 so we’re aware it might take a little while for anything to happen. Im just keen to know that my body is doing all the right stuff.

@AgeGapBbe Hi, I stopped the mini pill end of June and I've just had what I think to be my first cycle with positive ovulation tests / symptoms last week. I think I'm possibly around 3dpo now.

I'm having exactly the same symptoms as you. Upset stomach, bleeding / spotting with cramping. I also had a raging headache last week and felt hotter than the sun 🥴

I'm 34 so also wondering what it all means! It's a minefield isn't it. When we started TTC I told myself I'd be relaxed about it all, erm yeah I'm completely the opposite 😂

Ha! Yes! Technically we’re ‘seeing what happens’ and actually, a baby within the year would be slightly less than ideal... but, time waits for no man and we’re not getting any younger!

It’s quite a significant bleed today, feels like day 1 or 2 of my period. Not idea when wanting to make use of ovulation time! 🤣🤦‍♀️
