Hey ladies I'm typically a 22-28 cycle - this month I had covid and just incase anyone is in the same position, I really think it delays your ovulation!

CD 19 and only just got my positive OPK xx

Yes, happened to me last cycle. Delayed O by about a week 🙄

Hi @xttcbabyno1x and @hipposinacircle thank you for sharing this! Really helpful to know. I had covid this cycle and currently on CD42 (usually 28-30, latest before has been 33!!)

I took some tests and got BFNs a week ago, but I did get lots of EWCM last week so maybe that was my late ovulation? maybe I’ll test again this weekend!

@Bee15 honestly it's frustrating isn't it but it's good to know that that's probably what it's related too! I without fail have a cycle no longer than 28 days and this time it's like 33 so definite delay!!

It delayed mine by a week too

@allgoodthings84 seems like it happens a lot ! Crazy really I read it's because our body is too busy fighting the illness to ovulate xx

Ahh me too, delayed exactly a week!!! I caught covid just as AF arrived, and I think I finally ovulated (based on temp rise this morn) today at CD25 🙌

Couldn’t find much info when I was looking so thanks for starting a thread. Fingers crossed this is our magic cycle 🤞

Have you noticed anything different with your CM? I normally get 2 days of EWCM but I’ve had none, just creamy + watery on and off this cycle.

@TwinkleCupcakes it's so frustrating right but glad we ovulated :) mine was CD 19!

Oh my gosh same, I've had barely any which is so unlike me , wonder if that's another side effect? X

I’m guessing as youve both ovulated today, will you wait a while before testing if AF is late? Xx

i guess I’m assuming if ovulation is late, than AF will be…so best to keep testing later too?

@Bee15 I got my peak today :) so should be ovulating soon as got my peak at 11am this morning xx :) Yeahh AF due on the 13th august now x

I think the LP tends to be the same every cycle give or take a day so if ovulate late AF will be late too. I’m now due on any time now (around a week late) and it’s definitely coming as started spotting

@allgoodthings84 Yeahh definitely, been tracking my ovulation for a few months and my period will be exactly two weeks after my peak! Ahh sorry lovely, any chance it could be implantation ? Xx

@xttcbabyno1x nah I spot every cycle before AF arrives and this is the same so definitely not implantation

@xttcbabyno1x yep came late yesterday morning. It’s ok though as wasn’t expecting anything because of us both having covid before ovulation that cycle. At least can get it out the way and try again and always one month closer to the bfp
