Reflexology whilst TTC

Does anyone have any experience of having reflexology whilst TTC?

I have a session booked, and although I didn’t book specifically for TTC, I wondered if it’s worth mentioning and if there is any link with supporting fertility?

I am 19 months into trying, so anything to support my journey would be a bonus!

Appreciate any thoughts!

I have booked a fertility reflexology appointment with a reflexologist who has trained in reflexology for fertility. I was told that I will have a session once a week which will take into account where I am in my cycle.

I saw someone when I was TTC after a miscarriage. I was pregnant again within 3 months and saw her until lockdown when I was 7 months pregnant. No idea if it actually helped, I did find it so very relaxing and my DH used to comment on how much energy I seemed to have after a session. I did mention my situation and I think she "focussed" more on certain areas because of that

I think this is what I want to gain from the session more than anything, helping with energy and rebalancing hormones. I will definitely mention I am TTC, and hopefully she can work with that.
I had never considered it before but my DP has booked it as a treat as he goes to the same woman for massages, so it will be good to ask her to focus on those elements. I’m in the 2 week wait, so not sure what kind of impact it could have at this stage. Just to help me relax will be a bonus!

Hello. I’m just about to complete a level five reflexology course and can confirm that reflexology can support conception. I’d recommend approx. five sessions on weekly basis and that you look for a level five trained reflexologist who will have covered fertility (or someone that’s done an advanced CPD course). It’s also a lovely treatment for pregnancy and post pregnancy. Good luck! x

I’m doing sometimes reflexology just to relax, but also a fertility acupuncture. I’ve just changed the therapists. The first was very good according to reviews, but I felt something is missing - and I felt lack of communication and all sessions very robotic. The new lady takes time to talk to me without any rush, so I feel a bit better. However, I’ve been doing acupuncture for 7 months and still nothing..
