Does cervical mucus show your ovaries are working?

Hello,

Sorry for the odd question.

I track ovulation via cervical mucus and opks.
I always get a lot of cervical mucus around my predicted ovulation week.

Does this mean my ovaries appear to be working properly? If not working would the cervical mucus be less/non existent?

Sorry for weird question I'm so confused. I also have endometriosis which is why I'm worrying.

Tia

Having cervical mucus around ovulation (providing it’s the clear stretchy or watery type) can show your ovaries are working. This is because the ovary grows a follicle with an egg in, which is it gets bigger and bears ovulation causes a rise in estrogen which causes the mucus!
