Ttc after C Section

I've had an emergency C Section with my DD 3 years ago, she was conceived in just one 1st cycle of trying, so I thought we wouldn't have any issues conceiving again but I'm currently on my 5th cycle of trying I'm 29 and healthy, just want to hear any stories of conceiving after a c section? X

I had a c-section with my first who took 18 months to conceive. When we started trying I fell pregnant straight away, had a mc and then a chemical and fell pregnant again immediately all with no ‘period’ in between. Pregnancy seemed to lengthen my cycles so I’m putting it down to that.

it’s likely nothing to do with previously having had a section, remember 5 months trying is only 5 goes at it

I fell pregnant with dc1 the first month trying. Had a vaginal birth. Then took 9 months to conceive dc2. Had a CS. Then 3 months to conceive dc3. I think there are lots of factors that affect ttc time and rememeber anything up to a year (possibly 2 at your age?) is normal.

I had a unplanned c section e years ago and then conceived first try with my second (currently 10 weeks).
My periods have actually been more regular since pregnancy which I think that helped. They used to be all over the place but been consistently 28 days since they came back at 6 months pp.

I had an emergency C section with my daughter who is 16months old. I am currently 11 +4 with our second baby after trying for 2 months and I’m 40. So many factors regarding individual fertility, but my C-section hasn’t caused any issues. Good luck and hope you get your BFP soon
