My second was conceived while DD1 was exclusively BF. BF isn't a contraceptive.

Yes but it’s faint. And strip tests are usually not as high quality as First Response etc.

No no I wasn't using breastfeeding as contraception! Sorry I rambled a bit my head is up my arse. I just think that's the reason I haven't had a period since DS

The testing has come from a suggestion by DP after I had a nausea spell and had to go back to bed. That's not like me at all usually

But I'm wondering, could it really be a positive so early when me and dp have only had sex on 21/06, 15/07 and 21/07?
He has been working away a lot recently so I know the days we've dtd

I've got the shopping and I have a weeks indicator test - that says can detect 4 days before your missed period. The Asda can test from the day it's due. How am I supposed to know when to test if I don't know when I would be due a period?

@twoandcooplease I'd guess you must have conceived on the 15/07 making you about 8dpo now which is early! 21/06 I'd expect a clearer line and 21/07 is too recent. I'd therefore assume that your 'period' would be due in about 5/6 days based off a typical cycle. I found the weeks indicator quite sensitive, I reckon you will get a positive on that in the morning.

I retested this morning with an Asda and digital which are both negative

But I don't know, I just don't feel ... right ... does that make sense? When I was preg with ds I had negative tests for over a week. But I just knew my body wasn't right and when I went to the gp for a lump on my breast they did a test just to be sure and it was positive

A wonderful pp worked out dates for me and would make me very early if there is a little dc2 growing. I'm going to pop the tests out of sight and do another next week maybe. Xx

This happened to me, I had a very faint positive at the end of December followed by 2 days of negatives so I thought I wasn't pregnant. Period still hadn't arrived a few days into January so I decided to do one more test and it was positive! I'm now almost 33 weeks.

I hope pregnancy is going well for you! My 33/34 weeks were quite hard with PGP but also ds came as a big surprise at 36wk when I had a decorator in doing the nursery and not a bit of bag packed or clothes away. I hope you're more organised than me lol. They really can come at any time
