DONOR IVF OR IUI?

Hi, I already have a little girl (7) who was conceived naturally during a previous 8 year relationship (we weren't trying). I have never been on contraception and recent test during a fertility MOT showed I have PCOS with a high ovarian reserve plus the twice I have had blood tests I haven't ovulated.

I am not in a relationship and nor do I want to be in one so have decided to go it alone (again, seen as my daughters dad walked out 6 years ago and we haven't seen him since).

The fertility clinic have provided two options

1. medicated donor IUI

2. donor IVF

Financially the IUI is the better option but I don't want to waste money on something that doesn't have a very high success rate.

Does anyone have any success stories or advice please? I'm super stuck on the best options

Can I ask, did you have any know fertility issues beforehand please?

I got pregnant on the second cycle of IUI. Really happy to talk about it but I'm falling asleep now 😂 because the product of said IUI keeps me busy 😂

Hi

No known fertility issues but I had never tried before, I am in a same sex relationship.

I was 38 when I fell pregnant.

I had a HCG which confirmed no problems with fallopian tubes etc x

Hi! @MammyandAva I am the same as you my fertility MOT showed a high AMH and signs of PCOS - I am away to start IVF but I have been advised to do a frozen transfer not sure if that helps you any. I can keep you updated with how I get on. X
