TMI sorry! Dark Brown spotting?

I'm just wanting to get some advice, maybe someone has been through similar?

Myself and Fiancé have just started trying to conceive. I've had my first period since coming off the mini pill and have been tracking my possible ovulation on the Flo App which I've been finding really helpful. We had s*x on one of the days where I'd be most fertile which was 5 days ago.

For the past 2 days most times when I have wiped down there I have dark brown small like clumps in my CM.

Could this be spotting for implantation bleeding? I could just be looking into it a bit too far but my next period is not due until 9 days time so I'm a bit confused. I have no symptoms like painful breasts or headaches or cramping so I'm really unsure.

Any advice or help would be really appreciated xx

It would depend on when you ovulated rather than when you had sex or when you’re due on. Apps aren’t always very accurate at getting ovulation right unless you’ve been using opk and putting the data in for a good few months as they make a guess on an average cycle for an average person but everyone is different.

implantation is 6-12 days starting after ovulation (most commonly days 8-10 I think) so if you ovulated 6-12 days ago then it could be implantation if it was less than 6 days ago it’s unlikely to be implantation bleeding

@allgoodthings84 Thank you for your advice. I'm probably not in a clear monthly cycle at the moment with periods or ovulation as it has only been my first month off the pill. The colour has changed now to a light brown and it's more watery. I'm going to keep an eye on it over the next few days and hope it stops but if not will give the Dr an email for quick phone appointment just to discuss, I'll take a test if I miss when my period is due according to the flo app as I'm Still not in a rhythm haha xx
