Just that really, I was 3 days overdue, then tested positive for covid, and here I am a week later, still no period. Has anyone else had their period not show up after getting covid?

Yes me and and a few friends have had strange periods since covid19. Mine took 6 months to become regular again

Yes, many viruses do.

Yes! They changed mine for two months post Covid and it also affects sperm massively for 3 months

Hi, my DP got Covid this month just before my ovulation day… and we DTD anyway (he was coughing really bad) … And of course i got Covid too after it, during 2WW. I just worried that it would delay or mess up my period. But to my surprise AF shew up right on time at CD28…..

But i dont know if it would change next month. When i got the covid vaccine, m6 period was messed up for several month from 25-34 days. Before it was like a clock work for 28 days sharp. So yes it would affect your period if it is delayed and im sorry….

btw, i felt so bad right now (AF turned up today) …..i thought this month i would have luck but instead i got covid.and i could not help but blame DP for it 😲😥

Yes, any kind of stress on your body can delay it.

Hey me and my husband both got covid in Feb, I then had a 34 day cycle and got pregnant in March. I know quite a few women who have had their periods buggered for a while from the rona

Thank you for your replies. I was already a few days late before I got covid symptoms, but I guess I could have already had covid in my system at that stage? No idea really, ttc is confusing enough at times without adding covid to the mix!

I haven't had Covid, but when I got the vaccine, it stopped my period in it's tracks. Like on Day 2. Bizarre really.
Would the doctor know? You could do an e-consult.

It takes a few days after infection for symptoms to start.
