Sperm Morphology 2%

Hello,

My partner has just had sperm analysis done.. his sperm Morphology has come back at 2% - any success stories ? We're very worried now :(

Anyone got any advice x

Hi September. I just commented on another thread as my DH had the same. But we conceived on first try. Morphology isn’t really a great overall picture as a man with 2% morphology who has a sperm count of 100 million will have the same number of good swimmers as a man with 10% morphology but 20 million swimmers. Did he have a sperm count?

My husbands came back as 0% normal morphology. The Dr told him to take proxeed plus for 3 months to see if there was any improvement before the follow up analysis but I fell pregnant naturally 2 months later so no second sample required!

@September22BabyTime as another poster mentioned, morphology isn't something to focus on if sperm count is nice and high. Having said that, if he can get it up, your chances are likely to increase. My OH took Proxeed, amongst other things, for 5 months and within 2 months his morphology went from 0% to 9%... at 5 months, we fell pregnant and this is also with borderline sperm count. Get him on some vitamins and Proxeed, ensure he only has 1 coffee a day ( the urologist was very specific about this), limit boozing, no tight boxers, no cycling or saunas. You will get there - good luck xx
