Early period after D&C?

Hi everyone,
Had a really hard time with my most recent miscarriage. I had medical management but there was a tiny bit left so had to have a D&C to prevent infection. I was already getting negative pregnancy tests with FMU before the surgery.

I went for a scan on Friday (exactly 2 weeks after the surgery) and they said they could see I ovulated very soon after the D&C.

On Monday I had a bleed which has continued today. Its been over 2 weeks so shouldn't be from D&C but is this too early for a period? Anyone who has experienced similar?

I would think if you had ovulated that it probably is your period esp as you were having negative tests too. Your body is likely completing the cycle.

I'm 6 weeks post D&C and didn't get my period until 5 weeks after. I didn't bleed much after the procedure just small spotting for a day then had a proper period for 3 days which is about my normal period length.
