send help! faint pos after period

Good morning,

Sorry for the long one!

I have regular 28 day cycles. Had some spotting CD29 which turned into a regular AF flow and was red blood, last a day and then 2 days of low flow/brown blood. Tampons were never properly full. Yesterday CD6, I felt very very sick most of the day and extremely bloated, thought to myself if I hadn't just had my period I would think I was pregnant! Later yesterday evening I I had some pink tinted EWCM, not usual for me so I've done a pregnancy test this morning. Albeit faint but definite line appeared within 2 minutes... what does this mean?

Is it a chemical? Is it a miracle? Help needed!

When I got a positive straight after a "period" it turned out to be a weird ectopic/chemical pregnancy, so keep an eye on any symptoms.

Could of course also be late implantation, there's no way of knowing at this stage.

@Regenbogen22 thank you for your reply. Yeah this is what I'm concerned about. Even though it's faint I've never had an FRER that I've had to squint at, so weird that it's still quite clear this far down the line. We'll just have to see I suppose!

I experienced something similar April last year.
I was late on my period, ended up getting very faint positives. Turned out to be a chemical pregnancy.

However the following month I conceived my baby boy...

I've had chemicals before and the tests have faded to nothing before my period has come so it's just so confusing as to why I would still be positive today CD7.. oh well!

I wouldn't lose all hope but I would be very cautious about getting too optimistic. In my experience, a viable pregnancy would show noticeably darker tomorrow and significantly darker the day after, so you shouldn't have too long to wait to see which way this is going xx

@BlueMumDays yeah I'm not putting much hope into this at all, more confused that anything! I have a cheapie that I can use tomorrow morning as I won't be able to get out in the heat to get an FRER

The same happened to me. I was pregnant; the 'period' was an implantation bleed. My cycles were regular and the bleed happened when my normal period was due. The flow was normal but lasted slightly fewer days than my usual periods. I started to feel a bit odd a couple of days after the bleeding stopped and took a cheap test a couple of days later. It was faint but positive.
It happened again on my second pregnancy and with both of them, I also had some very light bleeding at weeks 8,12 & 16 (so when my period would have been due).

I had this and just assumed it was my period when it was actually implantation bleeding, the bleeding was very similar to what you have described. I didn't find out until I was almost 9 weeks and my next period never appeared.

@igglepigglesredblanket thank you for sharing, that sounds promising!

My only worry is that the line is so faint, surely would expect something darker by now!
