Strong bfp then bfn

Hello,

I am due on my period today, but after some niggling symptoms, took a pregnancy test yday afternoon and it was strong and immediate positive on first response. I went and bought a clear blue and that was positive too, although fainter which I know they can be as they’re less sensitive.

This morning/afternoon I’ve tested again on FRER and it’s a bfn. I would assume chemical if yday’s result hadn’t been so sudden and strong. Picture attached.

anyone out there had similar experiences?

Ah ok, I thought if it were today's and you were interpreting it as negative.....it isn't!

Could be a chemical I'm afraid, although strong bfp to stark white negative the next day is a bit odd.

Have you got another FRER to test tomorrow?

That’s what I thought @Flederjo , it if he’d been a squinter I would’ve assumed chemical too, but this feels unusual. @BAZWHEAT bfp is big fat positive and bfn = negative. Frer is first response early results test :)

How odd. Did you test at the same time of day? I would say wait another couple of days then try again

Hi @Wouldloveanother no I tested yday evening then again this morning. I could understand going from a faint line to nothing but not from a strong line to nothing :(
