Help with ovulation tests

Hi everyone! I ovulate the same time every month and this month my tests aren't anywhere near as dark as I'd expect them to be at this point, I should be ovulating in 3 days and my tests are really light still and I started also using the clear blue advanced ovulation test kit this month too and thought id be getting flashing smileys by now and nothing on that either, does anyones tests suddenly get dark or only get dark closer to ovulation than this?

You can get the LH surge quite close to ovulation, so maybe that's it. 3 days before is quite far in advance. Keep testing, maybe you'll get a positive quite soon.

@Flederjo yeah I'll definitely keep testing, I do normally see my lines getting darker by now but maybe it won't happen till closer to ovulation this month

My lines would legit go from being almost blank to positive, so just keep testing 🙂 xx

I had a similar thing this month and actually ovulated 3 days later than I normally would! I normally get a peak on cd14 but this month it was cd16/17. No idea why! I'm sure if you keep testing you will catch it

@Nita92 maybe I'll ovulate late this month too! That's quite reassuring knowing it's not just me, what app are you using?

It's called Femometer! Only been using it a couple of months but seems to be quite accurate as if TTC wasn't stressful enough without our cycles playing tricks on us!!
