Implantation bleeding or period?

Hi,

Currently breastfeeding so haven’t had a period yet. I had egg white mucus last Thursday and also had unprotected sex.

A week later, Friday, and I’ve had some bleeding. I haven’t got period pain and I have always had bad period pain when on my period and a couple of days in the run up. It’s a lot lighter than my periods pre pregnancy and I’d have expected my first period after having a baby to be heavy?! But it seems more than just spotting.

I’m not 100% sure I have even ovulated but it was the first time I’ve had egg white mucusy discharge since having my baby many months ago. If I did ovulate, I think I’ve had this bleeding on 8dpo. Is it likely to be my period or implantation bleeding? Is it too early after ovulation to have a period?

Just to add, before having my baby, my period always arrive 13/14 days after ovulating, consistently each month, no anomalies.
