Ovulation CD7 - help!

Hi all

we have been ttc going on cycle 8. I am on my last day of AF (tmi sorry) where there’s only a dark amount of discharge there when I wipe. I started this morning doing the clear blue digital OPK and it came back straight away with a static smiley!! Could ovulation be this early? Has anyone ovulated early in their cycle and successfully conceived? Thanks x

Do you know what CD day you usually ovulate? I track my BBT and have irregular cycles if I'm having a short one like a 24 day cycle I ovulate around CD9. Is it a new clear blue holder you're using?

Hi @mummatara thanks for your reply! So my cycles are fairly regular and usually 24/25 days long. Last cycle, going by the ovulation tests I ovulated on day 11 so still quite early in. Yup, clear blue strips and holders x

@HRS94 do you have any other opks you could try to see if they match up with a peak CB? You have a shorter cycle so could certainly ovulate earlier though does seem a little odd that AF hasn't quite finished yet 🤔

@mummatara im sure I have some easy@home LH strips somewhere. That’s a good idea I’ll dig them out, thank you

Are you definitely not pregnant OP? If this would be a very early LH peak for you, I'd consider a pregnancy test. It's uncommon but some people have periods while pregnant. And being pregnant can cause a positive ovulation test.
