Anyone else diagnosed with Chronic histiocytic intervillositis (CHI)

After 3 miscarriages and a devastating TFMR at 22 weeks I have been diagnosed with Chronic histiocytic intervillositis (CHI). I’d never heard of this before or met anyone with it. I’ve been searching the internet and also spoke with my consultant who told me how rare and unknown it is. I’m just wondering is there anyone out there been diagnosed with this and what have your experiences been? TIA

I was diagnosed with CHI after having my baby girl 10 weeks ago she was born at 34 weeks weighing 1lb 8oz. She is my 4th baby. However wasn’t diagnosed with my boys!

@Hopingforsun12 so sorry to read of your losses. Could I ask how things have been since? I'm in a pretty similar situation with talk of CHI being the cause of my recurrent second miscarriages and I was just looking for some more info x

im sorry to hear about your losses. We decided that we couldn’t try anymore. After 3 early and 1 late loss neither me or my dh had the strength to keep going, whilst trying to keep things normal for dc. Our consultant put a great plan in place, with lots of scans and treatment but she couldn’t give us any type of idea in the outcomes. CHI, they believe has a 90% recurrence rate but there is so little information on it. Wishing you all the best x x
