Hi
I am DPO 8, this is my first month of temping (ttc 5 months)

My temp has remained raised since ovulation, and

has gone up again today. Is this a sign of

pregnancy?

Had a look at FF, couldnt find the answer.

Just want to know how likely a possible

pregnancy would be with a triphasic chart

reading.

Geordie, was this your first triphastic chart?

As this is my first month of temping, I dont know

whats if this will be my normal pattern.

I cant realsitically test until next friday.

Hi cori,

Raised temp is a good sign but it does not necesseraly mean you are pregnant. The raised temp is due to the high level of progesterone which is present after ovulation. And since this is the hormone which helps the pregancy in its early stage it will have to be present for the first 12 weeks or there about, and therefore your temp will stay elevated for that time.... now if your temp is still high after your period is due then you can think you might be pragnent. Usually if conception did not occur, the levels of progesterone drop after 14 days and you get your af, and you can detect that with a drop in your temp.

Clutching at straws perhaps. I took my temp 3 times this morning and had three different readings al in the space of 10 mins.
I am sure thermometer is OK as it is only a couple of weeks old.
Wonder what cause this.
