Bleeding @ weeks

Hope someone can give some guidance.

Having light cramps and light bleeding - what would be classed as spotting. Less than would need a pantyliner to be changed within 2 hours.

Have had a previous missed miscarriage.

Spoke to early pregnancy unit and they won't see me. Been asked to wait to see if the bleeding continues for more tan 72 hours.

I asked them to take a blood test to check beta HCG levels but they won't unless the bleeding continues for more than 72 hours.

Think if this doesn't proceed it'll be classed as a chemical pregnancy.

Feeling pragmatic about it (I was the same with the MMC to be honest which was picked up on an early private scan although I know and respect that everyone feels different).

I just want to know what's going on. Have tried to get private blood tests to no avail - no appointments until end of week. Am using online service - medichecks that'll post out a finger prick test to send away, that'll arrive tomorrow. It takes a day to get back to them and you get the first results 2 working days after that. I'll do a second test on Thursday (48 hours after the first) and repeat the same process.

It's frustrating that they don't offer testing at this stage. I prefer to have information even if it points towards a negative outcome.

Any experience or advice?
