Hi everyone. So, hubby and I have decided to start trying for another baby. We have a beautiful 9 year old daughter and hi is desperate for a sibling and this is our second month of trying. I had forgotten how easy it is to obsess over Every. Little. Detail!

So, I have regular 28 day cycles and according to my opk strips I ovulated on cd15 this month. Af was due yesterday evening. Yesterday I tested using both an opk strip and a pregnancy test (both eBay cheapies as not wanting to spend a fortune as I did with first pregnancy). I got a dark positive on the opk and a definite negative on the pregnancy test. I did the same this morning and got the same result; positive opk but negative pregnancy test.

I have read online that maybe it could be a late ovulation or an LH surge before af. I have no af symptoms now (had plenty a few days ago) and hubby and I BD last night just Incase it’s a late ovulation (this would be unheard of for me if it is). Also, to complicate things further, last night I had strange poking and pinching sensations really low down on my right hand side which weren’t painful at all but made me stop what I was doing.

Does anyone have any ideas at all how I can be late for only the second time in my life with af, test positive on an opk but not a pregnancy test and have possible implantation symptoms?? Help lol this is bonkers!

Thanks in advance 😊
