@BellaTheDarkOverlord that's exactly what I'm like if iv had a BFN constantly thinking oh maybe my HGC levels aren't high enough.
What CD are you on now?

@My2boysaremyworld I hope this is it for your teeth too. Tooth pain is the absolute worst!

@Angie2018 it just takes all the romance away from it all doesn't it when your TTC. Do you share your thoughts with your partner in the fertile week?

Wow fair play to you both for making some really healthy life style choices! Did you read all of this in the book you are reading at the moment? Who knows it may not take 4 months may be sooner!!
No known issues yet. Having bloods done on Wednesday to check hormone levels and thyroid. Even though I had my thyroid checked last year. As iv been having pain in my left ovary and my periods are a lot heavier than they use to be. And I can't loose weight. I'm not over weight but I'm bigger than what I was and I can't shift it for love nor money. I explained this all to the doctor and explained that we have been trying with no luck so she's going to do the full blood works but I had to be on my period for the bloods for some reason 🤷‍♀️. Xx

@Shiny88 CD12 today x OPKs negative today so hoping tomorrow it'll turn positive. DTD every other night currently so it's not too bad. Loads of EWCM.

@Angie2018 sorry for the delay been a mega busy few days.
I went down the rabbit hole of googling and freaked myself out about caffeine and vaping. I don't drink coffee but was drinking a lot of Pepsi max and stupidly didn't realise it had caffeine! So I've reduced that now to only 1 glass and try to stop vaping. We've been eating healthier anyway as when I spoke to the doctors they went through all the stages and touched on IVF (which would be way down the line) but she said our area is strict and says you need a BMI of 30, which I'm fine but OH needs to lose a little which is his focus. I have screenshotted about that book thankyou.
Hopefully you managed to catch ovulation 😊 I didn't know that about covid
I'm usually 27/28 days exact. Currently on 30 days and no AF, but the tests were BFN and premom says I'm due Monday so no idea why AF has pushed back days. Xxxx

@Shiny88 yeah you are totally right! Whilst I love having sec with him, i can't wait for it to go back to more of a lust kinda thing where it wasn't so often but we were desperate for each other 🤣 I mean we still manage to have fun and enjoy but I defo look forward to just having sex because we want to not because we have to 🙈

Yeah so for the first few months I felt really alone, he was very much of the opinion relax and it will happen, it won't take long etc.... this is because he's got two kids from a previous marriage and I have been pregnant twice before when I was 18 & 21. So I didn't share just how desperate and pressured and stressed I felt. I kinda felt awkward pouncing on him constantly in my fertile window, but one day I had had enough & shared with him how I was feeling and spoke to him about it all and he's now really on board and understands how it's so much pressure on me and he's asked me for all my dates each month of the days we need to DTD for the SMEP plan and he's made it fun and really easy so I defo have felt a lot easier this month.

Do you and your partner talk at all and share thoughts?

I've only read half of the book but I'm reading it in bits when I have time. I'm hoping it's sooner but to be honest the damage to our eggs is done 4 months before ovulation so I expect 4-6 months to be the time we are lucky when I know I must have decent egg quality. The books a real eye opener!!

What supplements are you on and are you eating well and the right foods etc? Hopefully your bloods come back normal! Has your OH been tested at all?

If she picks something up though they are likely to give you the medication / treatment you need and then you should get your month. Hopefully it's very very soon xx

@Brunette1989 ah no worries at all!! I've had quite a quiet weekend tbh. Probably too quiet with too much time to think 🤣

Yeah caffeine and vaping are not good. I have one tea a day now and one decaf coffee. I think you've made a wise choice about the one glass a day & also if you can reduce vaping that would be ideal. I read up on vaping the other day because my OH vapes even though there's basically zero nicotine in what he vapes, it's the chemicals that are in the juice that are harmful to eggs and sperm!

In reality though, if you eat all the anti oxidants you can, drink shit loads of water and cut right down on vaping and Pepsi max then it will be tonnes better.

How many months are you in to TTC?

Hoping my temp rises tomo confirming ovulation last night or today, my pains were last night so I reckon I ovulated in the night.

Did you ovulate late this month by any chance?

Hopefully you won't need IVF and you get your BFP soon xx

@Angie2018 when you say the right foods, what are the right food please? Dh and I eat pretty rubbish tbh and need to eat healthier but I don't know the best foods which may help us ttc.

@My2boysaremyworld yeah I do to an extent.... but I also believe that science is likely to take precedence here. I think il look back one day and understand why things played out the way they did but right now I just think when the right sperm makes it to the right egg it will happen xx

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I would strongly recommend reading "it starts with the egg" book, it has so much info on what diet you need and additional supplements etc. basically a diet high in natural folate, vitamin C & anti oxidants & omega 3 plus many other things. So Brazil nuts for you and walnuts for your man. Shellfish, leafy greens, broccoli, lentils, whole grain rice and bread, berries, grapefruit, oranges, salmon, mackerel, eggs... limit potato and white bread and white rice. Try not to have caffeine or fizzy drinks. High sugar intake is linked to infertility. Try not to eat canned food or heat food in plastic containers. There is soooo much on what's and why it helps.

@My2boysaremyworld yeah I totally agree! Tbh me and my partner said for ages we didn't want an autumn or winter baby because we have pretty much everyone in our family has a bday in autumn or winter. So I'm hoping the universe heard us and is going to give us a spring / summer baby ❤️ but to be honest I don't care in reality I'd have any baby in any month xx

@Gizzy93 totally get what you mean! I was the same last cycle. Just new 100% that after ovulation it wasn't my cycle. Also knew from 7dpo AF would be here in a week and she was. I think we learn to understand our bodies well on this TTC journey!!

@Angie2018 thanks so much, I'll find that and have a good read. Dh is a veg refuser and allergic to nuts so we don't have them in the house really. I'll see what else we can change though as we could definitely benefit from a healthier diet 😀im now decaff on coffee and could swap my coke zero for caffeine free. I feel quite positive this month. So far DTD CD 7,10,12.

I follow ttc.nutritionist on Instagram for dietary advice whilst TTC for those interested. Has definitely helped me to make some positive food changes.

Anyone want to swap supplement notes? 😃@Angie2018 good to read I am not the only one rattling around inside! I prefer to take individuals as opposed to multi vit as the content is much higher.

I am taking the below daily:
vit D, omega 3, coq10 with vitamin E, folic acid with b12, selenium, vitamin C, iron 🙃

My partner is taking the same minus folic and iron!

@ChickenT2b thanks. I'm taking folic acid, vitamins D and B6. I went to see a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist 4 years ago who recommending the folic acid in pre pregnancy. Reading labels on the B6 however maybe not recommended if TTC so I'll stop taking that.

Thanks for the Instagram recommendation @ChickenT2b just started following her. I eat a pretty balanced healthy diet and take folic acid and omega 3 currently but always interested in good tips. Feeling very focused this month cycle 2 and trying to do everything I can for my body.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord no worries lovely!! If you can, blend broccoli and other dark green veg up and mix it into sauces when you cook, so like a chilli or a spag Bol.... just Chuck blended veg in with the sauce and he will never know!! If you can't have nuts then lots of oily fish and an omega 3 supplement. Or lots of eggs. Yeah if you can swap to caffeine free and cut it down the lower sugar levels will certainly help! Glad you are feeling positive!! I just feel down and deflated!!

Morning all, 12dpo and BFN. Temp also dropped to cover line level. I think I’m out.
Decided to bring my wedding forward from 2024 to early 2023 and try to on that as a distraction! 💪

@ChickenT2b yes I prefer the individual doses, we top up the multi vit with a few. We are on coQ10, folate, vit C & D, I take evening primrose until ovulation, he takes maca root. I would get your hubby on maca root & folate too he needs folate just as much as you. I would also drop the folic acid and get a good quality folate. Folic acid is the synthetic form and our bodies struggle to absorb it. I found all this out reading that book!!

Thanks @Angie2018. Interesting, I will look into the primrose and Maca root!
I have started drinking beetroot juice (in a fruit smoothie) during the TWW for implantation as it’s good for thickening the lining apparently. Not the tastiest but you get used to it 😂
My bloods came back pretty high on folate so I feel like what I’m taking there must be working. But you’re right I have read that too.

@ChickenT2b oh wow did you get a bloods done? I think we will be going for tests at the end of the year if no luck! That's good you have enough.... maybe you eat the right foods too!! Yes I have beetroot in my salads during the TWW as it helps implantation. I always feel like a right fool eating and drinking all the right stuff in the TWW thinking there's a chance something happening and then AF comes and I'm like right you got me again 🙈
