@Angie2018 yes I did, my GP did them at my request following my first miscarriage. It’s worth asking the question so that you can put anything right and understand what your body might be lacking in. Mine came back normal to be honest but it’s definitely helpful to know!
Yep that’s me right now, drinking flipping beetroot juice… what has this come to 😂just think even if it’s not your cycle - all of the hard work is good for future eggs too!

@Angie2018 thank you x He will eat veg if I mix it in, he doesn't like texture so that should be ok. I'm terrible with sugar so need to get on top of that too.

@ChickenT2b oh that's really good they did that! I think if you are generally healthy you should be ok. It's funny isn't it! Me and OH were eating raw broccoli last night as part of our light dinner 🤣 I only found out yesterday tbh we both prefer it raw !!

Yeah that's very true. I just have to keep in mind I've only just started making serious health choices so that will take a few months to affect my eggs and his sperm so I need to be patient!!

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I've heard other women blend veg and put into food for there partners so it defo works! Yeah sugar is one they say stay away from. Can you supplement the normal sweet things you like with things like raspberries and strawberries and blueberries? They are full of anti oxidants which you really need and also should satisfy your sugar craving? That's what I do now. Also they say dark chocolate contains something that's good for fertility?! We have a small bit of that in the evenings now so we feel like we've had pudding 🤣🤣

@BellaTheDarkOverlord it's annoying me at the moment, not overly painful. Can finally brush my teeth and do salt water rinses today xx

@Angie2018 I do like raspberries and strawberries. I might try that instead and be better. I'm excited to try some new stuff to help me if it'll help with TTC 😁

CD13 today. Hoping for positive Opk today. DTD last night so definitely getting as much chance in as possible. I'd love for BFP before my holiday in August so I don't have AF 😂

@BellaTheDarkOverlord yeah berries are so good!! I also feel so much better for the changes in diet (not that I ate or drank badly). I just think I know I am doing all I can to assist conception and so I can't blame myself if it doesn't happen in 3-4 months of all this stuff!!

Am trying to prepare myself that it still might now happen though 🫤

@Angie2018 thank you! I hope you get your BFP too. I get the feeling of telling myself it might not happen. I have been doing the same but deep down desperately hoping it does.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord yeah I think I am deep down hoping for a BFP this month but I don't know I just don't think we will. Or so I am trying to manage my own expectations so I don't expect anything other than AF!!

I'll be honest I've been sat out in the sun/shade for 4 hours with my feet in a paddling pool 😅I've gone a deep shade of pink. Hope it doesn't interfere with ovulating.

Evening, hope you're all ok & surviving in this heat 🥵

I'm having a bit of a wobble today 😢 work got on top of me & my RD has been on my case, didn't start great when I arrived to work to a crappy email from him puts you in a great motivational mood on a Monday morning. Days like this make me want a baby so much more. I'm literally just staying there now to get maternity pay when it's done I'm gone & I'm so ready to tell them to shove it! My mental health is so much more important than a job but if I leave now & get pregnant quickly I wouldn't be entitled to SMP. I've been at my job for 18 years & i'm just done with being a door mat! I'm finally seeing what everyone else has been telling me. I put off having a baby for this job, I've been loyal & they just treat you like shit, I'm just done.

I'm also really scared we haven't DTD the deed enough this month (only 3 times). I know it only takes one sperm but I feel so deflated with it all today.

Sorry for the rant I just needed to vent & I knew I wouldn't be judged here. Xx

Oh no @hevann I know exactly what you mean. I have worked in jobs where it grinds you down too, although never for anywhere near as long. You're a trooper and they will definitely miss you when you're gone. I agree about staying on to get the maternity pay though. You deserve that pay 100%!

I am also finding it hard to care about my development at work at the moment, I'm fortunate to really like my job (I've been there just over a year and my previous work was awful) but I'm not really interested in working towards a promotion as it feels unfair to do that when really I just want to go on maternity!

Hopefully 3 times will be enough, was it timed within your fertile window? I think it was @Dreamingof3 said they only did it 2 or 3 times before the BFP?! Hope I've remembered that right, sorry if not.

Definitely have a wallow tonight and hopefully things will look better in the morning. If not then get yourself a little treat. I ate a massive bar of galaxy in about five minutes last week AF arrived x

@LucyLoopyLu thank you for your kind words. I literally dread going to work I have done for a few months, it never used to be like it though. Covid really put everything in to perspective for me. The company cares more about figures than their staff.

It's so tricky isn't it when you enjoy work it does make you feel like that you might be letting people down by going on Maternity.

Hopefully it'll be enough. We DTD CD8,11,12 Flo predicted Ovulation on CD12 so I'm hoping it'll be enough. I haven't tracked anything this month.

I think a massive bag of maltesers might be on the cards or maybe a chocolate gateau! Lol! Love your idea of chocolate!

Hope you get your BFP this cycle too. Your fertile window must be starting soon. x

@hevann sorry you're having a shit time of it at work. I've had a shit few days this week where I was considering handing in my notice. Just think of that BFP and being able to tell them to stick it one day in the near future xx You can do it, we all can xx

@hevann when I fell pregnant with my eldest my job was horrible. I'd had a bit of time of with sickness. I got called in for a review and they was about to have a go and I said I'm pregnant!! They couldn't touch me! They treated me like shit and I went on early maternity leave with pre natal depression. I used all my leave up then handed my notice in xx
