Not ttc, been spotting/lightly cramping for a few weeks just as in previous pregnancies and just have had a niggle I can’t ignore. If I in-fact am, it would be an enormous shock and contraceptive failure. Youngest is only 7 months! no idea if dates etc

Am fully aware of unreliability of blue dye tests, just all I could grab with the food shop in a pinch. Just need some eyes/opinions before I decide whether to invest more money in this or not and go out to get pink dye one

this was FMU & came up well within the time frame. I have kept it to compare later and also because if it is not a positive, I think I may write to Tesco’s to tell them what poor quality tests they sell!

Thanks

Yes I would definitely 100% be buying a better test as I can see that without having to look to hard. First response is probabaly best bet x

It does look positive!

Cartmel · 06/07/2022 14:54

If I saw that myself I would be assuming positive!

ScarlettOHaraHamiltonKennedyButler · 06/07/2022 15:04

Tesco tests are awful. I had a faint positive last month on one but wasn't pregnant. I then read about how bad they are and bought some First Response and they were negative. I would get a new test.

smallfluffy · 06/07/2022 15:50

Yes I can see a definite line. Wishing you luck op x

Have ordered First Response on Amazon for tomorrow, my pink test supermarket search proved unfruitful this afternoon sadly

I think the biggest surprise now is that I am actually little excited at the idea of a baby #3, another issue for another day however.

Will update when I know more

Just to update: (because I can’t bare it when these threads never get answered!)

I started to bleed heavily in the night, FRER is v faint but practically negative and I’m assuming whatever it was is in the process of working its way out. Ho hum

I would still test over the next few days. I know of several ladies that had bleeds and presumed it was going to be a MC but they turned out to be healthy pregnancies and babies 🤍 good luck x
