Pregnancy after miscarriage

I'm really sorry I just need to write down what's on my mind.

Am I being really unreasonable not wanting to try again after a recent miscarriage due to fright and guilt?
I'm petrified something will go wrong again and feel awful guilt as I don't know why I lost the last pregnancy

Other half says to stay positive and reassures me but that doesn't help. I honestly feel alone as I don't know what to do.

@Welshgirl18 I'm so sorry for your MC and I completely understand. I had a MMC about 8 weeks ago and still cry every few days as I found the experience completely traumatising. He wanted to try again straight away and I honestly did not feel ready up until a week or so ago. Its completely OK to not be ready. You are grieving and have been through a mentally and physically horrible process. Sending love ❤️ xxx

@Bobduncan thank you, I had a surgical miscarriage in March I honestly thought I was ready but seeing a negative pregnancy test has pushed me back and made me think I'm not as ready as I thought. I know its very early days to even retry but its just knocked me x

I've had 4 MC and the thing that keeps me going is that I really want another baby. Yes I am scared of having another loss but I'm hopeful things will work out. The want for another baby is bigger than the fear of another loss. Maybe in time that will change but that's where I'm at now.
