So we are ttc #1 (I'm 29). I came off the pill early June - I didn't get a post-pill normal bleed (which was weird), just a bit of bleeding at the end of the pack, much lighter than usual. 2 weeks ago today I felt pain in the lower right side, on and off all day, I think this could have been ovulation pain as I never had it when on the pill. I have always had irregular periods (my mum has PCOS but I've been given an ultrasound for it and was told I didn't have it) but have been more regular previously immediately after coming off the pill.. Anyway, 2 weeks after and still no period, I'm wondering when's the earliest it makes sense to test (on a normal test not an early detection one)?

Usually AF would be due 2 weeks after ovulation, give or take a few days, so if you're two weeks after ovulation then you'd probably be safe to test now and get a pretty accurate result. But of course the longer you wait, the more accurate the result will be. Fingers crossed for you!
🤞
