Hi OP - I am currently in cycle 1 TTC#1.

Judging by the app today is my ovulation day, though this is my first month tracking with OPKs and learning about my cycle so it's all quite new to me!

I am only on CD13, so it seems a bit abnormal to ovulate so early but i have nothing to compare it to!

@yellowmoon487 cd 14 is average of ovulation on a 28 day cycle. How long are your cycles? I think im ovualting today or tomorrow as im having ovulation pains and ewcm.

Thanks @Dogmum13 that's a bit more reassuring! From the app I used it said I should have been ovulating on CD17, and it came around a lot quicker than I expected so definitely felt we could have DTD more in the run up.

After 8 years on contraceptives I'm not sure how long my cycles typically are! I just had the implant removed and it took 7 weeks for my period to arrive, and so I'm really just learning what is 'regular' for me.

Have you been tracking with ovulation strips or anything similar?

@yellowmoon487 ahh thats probably based on your cycle length. Was it about 31 days? I used ovulation strips before to confirm that the pains I had were from ovulation so I dont need to use them now I know thats what it is. I think its best just to relax and enjoy it, if you start thinking about it too much it'll stress you out. The ovulation strips are useful but i wouldnt too much about anything else other than an app to record your cycles.

I'm joining you 🙋🏻‍♀️ CD1 was Tuesday for me, just finishing my period now! First month ttc again after our miscarriage, got pregnant quickly with my first baby and the last pregnancy so hoping I do this time too 🤞🏻

I am currently CD3 in cycle #1 TTC#1!

From What I remember when I tracked cycles for contraceptive reasons I had late ovulations in my mid 20s. I am now 36 and hoping that it has now changed 🙏🤞. Good luck everyone!

Hi all - hope you don’t mind if I join you ❤️ Cycle #1, but we decided just after half way through to really start trying. Not expecting anything this month - and now just waiting for AF to arrive so we can start afresh!

I use apps - I have Glow and Flo. Had a weird month with AF last month - typically I'm regular like clockwork, but was almost 7-10 days early. Bought ovulation tests yesterday, so am treating Cycle 2 as the first month of us really trying. (AF usually doesn't come until the 1st - so my apps are currently screaming 'late period' at me). Hoping it's just a blip.

@dobby13 I have a weird one last month too. I'm normally 25-29 days and it was 33 days! Never had one as long as that! It was so strange

@Dogmum13 weird - isn't it?! It didn't help me when I was starting my tracking - on a normal cycle, it looks as though I should ovulate around the 17th of the month, and that was the day we started TTC, but it's all been thrown up.

I was sick yesterday and have had headaches and cramping so thought we may have managed it - but took a test and it was negative. Just going to wait for AF to actually turn up now.

It's all a bit overwhelming - but so exciting at the same time!

@dobby13 yes I completely agree! I'm feeling more positive going into cycle 2 now but near the end if cycle 1 I was almost tearing my hair out as I had so many symptoms and bfn's and just needed to know one way or another
