Is this too early to test?

Hi! Long time lurker. I stopped taking my pill at the end of may and had my period 13th June for the usual 4-5 days.
I am due back on Monday but have been having period symptoms, dull aches, increased discharge. Just tested and it’s negative. Is it too early? Or am I out this month?

I didn’t track ovulation but according to Flo I ovulated on June 27th ?

Yes, too early.

Wait until at least the day you are due. But if you really can't, then as close to it as poss. More than 48 hrs out and it's pretty worthless

If you just stopped the pill a month ago then it might also take your body time to re-establish a cycle.

Ovulation may also be completely different to what an app says - don't trust apps unless you've been feeding them information with OPKs and BBT for several months!

Absolutely, it's just tricky with the timing/cycle. Many get pregnant immediately! If you ovulate then you can pregnant.

Also waiting similar symptoms. Negative today maybe 12dpo due sometime over the weekend if it comes this timeb

Hello, just thought I'd jump on to follow as I have similar also. Had some light cramping a few days ago, more CM that I would usually have at this point (like weirdly more!) I feel like I'm convincing myself this is it after an early loss last cycle I may just be getting desperate 🙈 if cycles are back to usual I should be due Monday/Tuesday I think, but I have a feeling I ovulated a bit early this time

@MamaSJ15 have you done a test yet or are you trying to hold off ? Your symptoms are very similar to mine !

I am now 9 dpo according to the app and I did have ovulation signs on this day/ day before and after. Just done another test and it’s negative. Would you have expected something to show by now ?

@Damsons I'm usually one of those who holds off to test until after AF is due but I seem to have caved very early this time. Tested this morning but BFN.
Not necessarily, 9dpo is still very early. There's still a chance for you. I think I'm about 11/12dpo so I'm starting to think I was imagining all my symptoms at this point!! Guess we'll have to wait and see now 😂

@Damsons wait until at least 14dpo but you can’t be sure if you’ve ovulated if you haven’t tracked it. Many women don’t ovulate for months (took me 2 years) after stopping the pill.

No not at 9DPO. I didn't and I'm having twins. I waited until 2 days before my period was due then I took another test x

No test needed. Af arrived! Cd54 thank god!!

I tested again and still absolutely nothing. I’m now around 10dpo

Beginning to think all the symptoms I’m imagining arnt there

I had my last period on 13th June, ovulated on the 26th I think and this is as my test at 9dpo

Be patient! Do your test on the day you're due. I know it's super hard!
When I was trying for my 2nd one, I did early test (4 days before DD) and it was positive. We got really excited and then I got my period and it turned out to be chemical pregnancy.
Don't do my mistake and avoid disappointment!

@Room4onemore congratulations! My period was the same day and I think I ovulated on 28th so I am day 10 now and nothing
