Just that really. I thought this was the one and have been so happy. I started bleeding this morning (a lot) and have faint cramps now. I have to travel 90 mins to work and had appointments that it felt too late to cancel so I am at work now. The GP said to take a test in a week to confirm the loss.

We will keep going but it’s very hard to think we are at square one again. We already have a beautiful son so I know we are lucky. I am 40 and so feel I can’t afford time off ttc. I know lots of you have been through this so just looking for a hand hold and some positivity to get me through today x

So sorry to hear it.

Work if it makes you feel better, but it’s okay to cancel if you need the space.

So sorry to hear, I’ve been there 😭

like op said it’s okay to cancel, take some time out for yourself.

lots of hugs

Hello, I had an early loss last cycle, it's so heartbreaking isn't it. I hope you're feeling okay, here if you want to chat. I'm happy to talk about it if you need to 😊

Thanks so much @MamaSJ15 . I'm so sorry you have been going through this too. Have you started to feel at all normal again? I just can't imagine going back to ttc again even though only 2 weeks ago i had expected to be carrying on ttc. I have had two chemical pregnancies before, one before my son and one four months ago, so I know to be cautious but once I hit 5 weeks I'd started to feel more confident and I just didn't see this coming: one minute all was fine and the next it was over. I can't sleep. I think I'm just in shock although that sounds a bit dramatic. Hopefully I'll feel better in the morning x

@oliveroses I did start to feel normal again, and I hope you do too soon. The timeline for me was a little odd, I had my period bang on time so didn't even think I was pregnant, but the period was different to usual, no cramping, and the last few days was just spotting. A few days later I felt off, cramps and lower back ache so I tested and it was positive. That same day the cramps got really bad and over night carried on, but was only spotting, cramps eased a bit and the docs booked me in for an early scan, went for the scan a few days later and they told me there was nothing there. Then had my next period 2 weeks early. I'm now on the next cycle, just less than a week away from AF due.
I did feel off and down for a while but I've always said that it will happen when the time is right. This pregnancy wasn't a viable one so my body took care of me and got rid of it early. Fingers crossed the next one is the one 🤞😊

Oh wow, that sounds very confusing and stressful! I am feeling a little better now that the cramping is easing off, it's miserable to have physical pain on top of the emotional loss. You are right; it wasn't the right baby and we have to trust our bodies. I will try and look ahead without feeling overwhelmed/down about it x
