Symptoms in TWW

Just curious about how early some women start to experience pregnancy symptoms.

If you're pregnant or have been before, when did yours start?

Amazingly I started to feel really queasy after around 8 days.
I had been painting some woodwork around the house before TTC and all had been fine, 8 days into TWW I decided to do the final coat and the smell of the paint gave me a terrible headache/ made me feel sick. Then I couldn't watch any cookery programmes that involved raw meat or eggs. Then my sense of smell went off the chart.....
By day 14 if the pregnancy tests (I took five because I am such a nutter) had been negative I simply wouldn't have believed them!

@HiccoughPanda so that would likely be just after implantation. That's interesting about raw meat and eggs aversion starting so soon, I thought that sort of thing only kicked in after like 2 months or so.

I know symptom spotting is very usual and I'm trying hard not to do it but I'd like to be able to recognise it if things start to feel off. I've been super fatigued the last couple of days but I'm only on DPO4 so should probably just get a grip and sleep more 😅

Pretty much everyone I have told about it thinks that I am insane, but that is definitely how it happened for me.
DS was conceived by IUI after four months of varying clomid doses and a HCG injection to boost ovulation - not sure if that all had something to do with it 🤷‍♀️
My entire body gave over to being pregnant though, everything about me physically changed! I loved it though.
I hope that you're about to embark on the same journey x

With my first I didn't notice anything until either the day AF was due or the day after I can't remember now. I had mild cramping and lower back ache.
Good luck on your journey 😊

@HiccoughPanda thank you! x

@MamaSJ15 I imagine those could've been mistaken by AF just about to arrive. Thank you x

@J1290 that sounds horrendous! Did you take any medication for HG? Good luck with this one, hope you get an easier time this time! x

I'm still 4-5 days from AF due, nothing really of note, just very light nausea and no appetite. But nothing that if I wasn't actively TTC I would associate with potential pregnancy so holding on on testing only if AF doesn't arrive.
