Am I pregnant?

Hi All,

This may seem super obvious, I don’t know, but I’m wondering if you’re in agreement that I’m pregnant?

Just a bit of background: I’m divorced and couldn’t conceive for years with my ex. I’m 37 and not in a stable relationship but I did have intercourse the day before my predicted ovulation (not tracking or anything). I’m a midwife and have been longing for a child forever but it simply hasn’t happened… until now?

I took this test yesterday, 9dpo, in the mid-afternoon (not fmu). The line is pretty visible but I’ve read so much about evap lines and I’ve done hundreds of negative tests over the years (can’t even get two lines on a covid test, lol). Do you think it’s my time?

I’ll likely be a single mother going into this, and I’m completely fine with that. I was in the process of saving to freeze my eggs with the aim to do IVF in the future if I didn’t meet the right partner so I may have just skipped that bit.

Oh, congratulations!
I feel great, thank you. A few little twinges and some mild dull backache in my pelvis, but nothing I wouldn’t experience in my normal run up to my period so I can’t quite believe it yet! I’ll pop out later to buy another test to confirm. How are you doing? X

I'm on thanks very nervous. Have a few cramp like feelings and my boobs have gone massive but nothing else :) I've peed on about 50 sticks this week!
