How long after D&C did you ovulate?

Hi all,

I had a D&C three weeks ago for a MMC (10+5), my second miscarriage in nine months.

I got a negative pregnancy test two weeks after but still no sign of ovulation on OPKs. (I've been doing them about a week.) After the first miscarriage (similar sort of time pregnant) I ovulated exactly three weeks after.

Just wondering if anybody ovulated later than three weeks after a d&c / miscarriage?

I know that being pregnant again is the only thing that's going to make me feel any better so I'm desperate to start TTC again.

I'm really sorry for your loss. I ovulated 41 days after mine.

I'm so sorry @Presently83 , I also feel desperate to ttc again so I feel your pain. I had an erpc 42 days ago and I have ovulate today. I had AF 4 weeks exactly after the procedure, and ovulation cd 15. Best of luck to you xxxx

I had a weird period after this surgery so I'd recommend waiting one cycle to allow your body to adjust and clear out your uterus. I did fall pregnant again 2 cycles after the MVA. This pregnancy is all going well. Currently 23 weeks. There is hope and I'm sorry for your loss.

I’ve had 2 D&Cs and ovulated CD 17/18 after the first and CD 25 after the second.

@Chanel05 did you have a period in between? I'm wondering when I'll ovulate before the first period. I just want my body to reset and start again, it's so frustrating.

@Raindrops2015 congratulations! Fingers crossed everything goes brilliantly for you. My period after the first MC was also a bit weird, really painful, so I expect we will wait anyway. I'm just really curious (and frustrated) as to what is going on with my body.

@Presently83 well the day of surgery when you start bleeding is cycle day 1, so no. I didn't have another period in between.

It was quite frustrating but my cycles were all over the place and completely random lengths until I conceived again, 8 months later.

To anyone reading this looking for answers, I just got my positive LH test today, CD30 after the d&c (no period in between)
