Did I ovulate? With pic

Mentioned on other threads this is my first month TTC with OPKs and BBT. My cycles range from 29-36 days so I’ve been using these to help pinpoint when ovulation may be.

Apps suggest I ovulate tomorrow, and attached is my OPK chart, where I moved to twice daily testing once I was in my fertile window.

Today I tested with FMU as I was keen to ‘catch the egg’, this is now showing as my peak test. I did another late morning with limited fluids beforehand, and another just now to see how things were looking.

None of the lines look to be darker than the control one, so would you assume, like me, that I’m not ovulating this month?

BBT is a bit mad as I’ve not tested at a consistent time.

The black scrawl on today’s first test was some ink I think (on it when I opened it).

Any gurus and insights would be appreciated ☺️

I would say you did, probably overnight CD20. Surges can be very quick

I would say the real peak would have been overnight CD19 as you had lower results late morning on CD20 after the “peak” earlier that morning

As in overnight CD19 into CD20

these tests don’t tell us whether we ovulate though just if we have the LH surge. To know for you you would need to follow it up temping with BBT. I don’t do the temping as it’s too much for me so just hope that I do ovulate

Either way I would get dtd today and tomorrow

It’s a minefield of getting your head round everything! BBT I’ll try and do better next month (although fingers crossed I don’t have to 😁)! It’s hard as I wake at different times due to work, but may have to bite the bullet and wake at 6am each day to get a balanced reading.

DH enjoyed the impromptu lunchtime session 😂 he’s lined up for tomorrow too!

Just to say your ovulation results look so similar to mine, I’ve posted a picture of mine below. Mine is later than usual as it was my first cycle after mmc, but I think I actually ovulated in the evening before the peak and just missed it.

I did ovulate as got a bfp yesterday (early days still) but just to say you’re not ruled out based on your sticks 😊

Oh @Cdoc thank you so much for taking the time to reply!! Your pic has made me smile ☺️ I’ve not gone into it on here but between us DH and I have so many medical issues I’m really trying to not get my hopes up, but this has given me some faith at least ❤️

So sorry to hear about your MMC, but massive congratulations on your BFP!!

@Heretochill no problem at all 😊just wanted you to know that it isn’t completely out of the question. I didn’t track my ovulation on sticks before my mmc and had seen so many people’s results with much higher peaks than mine, so thought it wouldn’t work for us.

I could have written this post myself and actually asked a very similar question in another ttc thread on here. Here’s my tests from this cycle - like you my cycle varies in length and I was unsure what the highest reading of 0.92 meant!

@Heretochill definitely!! If I did ovulate, I’ll be 10 DPO today. I’ve not noticed any changes at all so not feeling confident about this cycle!

@Springblooms08 I’ve told myself the first few cycles will be test and learn. Takes the pressure off a bit mentally, also we’ve got holiday for the cycles after and I’m hoping the sun, sea and sangria will mean I’m even more relaxed and it may happen there 🤞 best of luck!
