Hello....first time posting today but been lurking for a while! Just wondering if anyone can help or has had similar experience? I'm on CD6. Did a clearblue OPK this morning which showed a flashing smiley after a low test yesterday. Have just had a large amount of EWCM (sorry if tmi!) And feeling a little sick on and off in the evenings for the past few days....I usually don't get a flashing smiley until day 8 so I'm confused as to what's happening and it feels far too early to ovulate? My cycle varies between 25-28 days.

Hmm if your cycle is usually at 25-28 days then that would be a very long luteal phase. Your fertile window could last about 5-6 days which would sit you at about ~cd 11 give or take a few days. Which would then line up for a fairly usual luteal phase for 25 days?

I usually see cm for 5-6days in my fertile window. Although last month my cycle was off but it was after surgery so it made sense. I had ewcm on cd9 and then nothing until cd19 for ewcm (I usually ovulate around cd19/20 in the cycle though).

Either way, if you are ttc then dtd every few days from now to cover the fertile window?

@Blue2020 thank you for replying! It does seem super early for me which is why I'm unsure. I usually get 2 days of flashing smileys cd8 and cd9 then static on cd10. I never get cm this early it's usually noticed around day 11 or 12! My cycles are usually shorter too, around 26 days but this last one was 28days 😐
Frustrating thing is we can't dtd until Saturday at the earliest 😣

@Magix86 flashing is getting into high peak, so hopefully it’s for a handful of days and you might catch the peak/ovulation by Saturday? Can only hope. I suppose our bodies are strange and can sometimes have the odd cycle that goes different to the normal. Is it still flashing today?

@Blue2020 yes it was flashing again today which was a relief to see 😄 hoping for another flashing tomorrow...that would reassure me that it's more similar to the last few months. It's so hard understanding your body when everything seems to be a symptom of everything lol! Thanks for the reassurance 🙏🏻 hopefully yours are getting back on track after your surgery too.
