When did you ovulate after MC?

I recently had an unplanned pregnancy that unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. We have decided to try again as soon as but i had my HCG levels tested yesterday and they was at 4.5.

Im unsure if i will ovulate until they are 0? Or will i?

Can anyone shed some light or experiences on TTC after miscarriage?

I got a +ve OPK 2 weeks after the start of my early miscarriage bleeding, so as though that was the "normal" period. Ovulated a day or so after that.

I'm not sure about ovulating when there is still HCG in the system, maybe someone else is wiser!

I had a MMC and didn’t ovulate until 6 weeks post ERPC when my HCG was back to 0.

I have got some ovulation tests but they are nearly completely negative at the min amd my MC started 2 weeks ago. Hopefully my HCG IS 0 next time and I ovulate soon🤞

Sorry to hear about your miscarriage 😔I had a mmc at 9 weeks last month and ovulated 23 days after I took the medical management tablets

Sorry for your loss. I had a mmc at 9 weeks in early April, which led to incomplete mc and ended with erpc in late May. I ovulated 21 days later after the surgery. I usually ovulate around cd19/20 though so it was like a normal cycle. I’ve just finished my first AF.

Sorry to hear OP! We're in a similar boat, my levels were 4 today so hoping it will resolve soon. I'm on day 12 and still haven't had notice of ovulation (I'm using the sticks).

@NalaNana i dont think you can ovulate if you still have HCG in your system, thats the impression ive got reading more into it now anyway. Hopefully we will be 0 soon so we can ovulate! 🤞

Just to update on here, I've just had a positive ovulation test - day 21 since the miscarriage x

Thanks OP! We won't be trying this month as the original pregnancy was unplanned and I'd like to lose a bit of weight before TTC but tracking because hopefully we'll try next month! Good luck for you 💐
