Wedding is in 6 weeks. I ovulate next week - would you TTC now or hang on until after the wedding? Any advice welcome please x

Go for it now! You don’t know how long it will take and even if it happens first time it wont be noticeable to others for your wedding.

I'd wait. I felt nauseous by 5 weeks. 1 month wouldn't make much difference.

Midnightclue · 25/06/2022 22:19

I'm so torn, I think oh well it may not even happen. But then I worry if I'm unwell/don't enjoy the day! Tough one when we are this close but are keen to get started

Personally if I was under 30 and about to get married I'd wait, but if you are in your 30s I'd go for it!

WonderWoop · 25/06/2022 22:32

It's one month. Enjoy your wedding.

I'd wait until after the wedding.

We tried to conceive as soon as we got married and got pregnant straight away. I was really exhausted / hormonal in the early stages of my pregnancy- not something anyone wants on their wedding day!

ChagSameachDoreen · 25/06/2022 23:50

Go for it.

I was 5 weeks pregnant at my wedding and it was fine.

HayleyBean · 26/06/2022 07:49

I'd personally wait until after the wedding. By 5 weeks I was absolutely shattered and my boobs had gotten huge. You don't want to not enjoy your wedding day or have your dress not fit x

Lottle · 26/06/2022 08:58

I'd definitely wait

Morning sickness on the day and if you're honeymooning
Early pregnancy bloat!
You may want to drink
You may get disappointed re negative test or early miscarriage around the time of your wedding (sorry to sound negative)

But obviously do what you like and have a great Big Day!!

Midnightclue · 26/06/2022 08:59

It's not too long to wait, it's basically a month. We could still try next month which would be around a week and a half before the wedding. Maybe that would be better and my boobs won't explode in that time? 😬

And yes of course we may not be lucky first time/many times or have a loss. So I agree all in all it's worth hanging on a little. Thanks everyone
