Vitamins whilst TTC

Hello

I’m looking for some help/advice on vitamins to take whilst TTC.

my husband and I have been TTC for around 5 months. I’m taking folate & just started taking vitamin D. I have a fairly short cycle of 25 days and have just started to use OPK and feel I may be ovulating later than predicted by the app. This would only give me roughly 8 days between ovulation & period starting.

can I have some advice on B6 and which brand/amount to take? And did this extend your luteal phase? Also anything else anyone feels has been helpful for them?

thank you so much x

I had a 9-10 day luteal and took 100mg b6, I think 500mg vit c, and a C0Q10 tablet a day. The third one was to improve egg quality and cell regeneration, and if nothing else gave me great skin and hair. I think the combo takes up to 3 months to be up and working in your body. By 3 months I had a BFP so hope the same works for you!

Seven seas trying for a baby increased my luteal phase by c. 3 days (went from 25/26 day cycle to 28/29 day cycle) and also seemed to improve my progesterone levels as I stopped spotting before my period arrived.

Thank you so much for your reply! Do you have any brand recommendations for the B6 & C0Q10? I can’t seem to find a decent B6 of that dosage

I also take seven seas trying for a baby vitamins. But as far as I'm aware I've not had a problem with a short luteal phase either. I used these vitamins while TTC my first child and conceived in 3 cycles, not sure if it contributed but you never know.
