could you check this test for me please? Am I going crazy or is there a VERY faint line??

Looks like an early positive! How many dpo are you?

I’m not sure - I’ve not had a period in 18 months because I am breastfeeding. I’ve been sterilised too!

I’ve just done a clear blue and that is negative so I’m thinking it was just a false positive

A ClearBlue isn't as sensitive though, so that doesn't negate that first positive. Have you any other tests to try?

Oh I didn’t realise that - I thought the cheap ones wouldn’t be as sensitive! I’ll test again with a strip test later.

Could it be a false positive?

I’ve got an appointment on Monday at the doctors and I’m really worried about wasting their time if it’s a false positive

@JadeyG if you buy and FRER test (first response) that will tell you either way for sure they are the most sensitive tests on the market!

Do a pink dye test in the morning, that way you'll know as they are the most accurate.

Thank you ladies! I will do one first thing in the morning. I’ve been sterilised so it is probably false positive. I’ve managed to get a doctors appointment for Monday just in case

Out of interest why on earth are you doing pregnancy tests if you've been sterilised?

(I can see a line, though).

I’ve just done another pink dye test and it’s negative - looks like it was just a false positive this morning

@LindaEllen i was advised to test sporadically by the surgeon that sterilised me so I was just following advice. Plus I’ve been bloated, emotional and my boobs are massive atm haha

Two negative tests this morning - looks like it was a false positive!

That’s crazy how it can be so blatantly positive and then be blank, really messes with your head doesn’t it

@Decisionstomakenow You’re so right! It does! I’m thinking of still going to the docs tomorrow just in case. I’ve felt nauseous on and off today with stomachache ache and backache to one side so it could just be worth checking out… or I’m just getting paranoid - I can’t tell anymore haha
