Missed Miscarriage at 10 Weeks anxious about conception

In Jan this year my husband and I tried for a baby and I got pregnant, unfortunately, I had a missed mc at 10 weeks and it took my body a while to recover. My last period was 28th May and my hubs and I decided to try again. For some reason I am feeling really worried and anxious about it. I am convinced we didnt conceive this time, as I have had none of the same symptoms that I happened to have last time I conceived.

However last night i had some slight cramps (thought it was period) but there's no blood today and no more cramping. I am too nervous to take a pg test and be disappointed.

Just wondering if anyone experienced something similar? Especially after mc? Could a second pregnancy have totally different symptoms after mc or could there be more unusual bodily sensations during your cycle after mc ? I feel like my periods have not quite been the same since.

I'll be watching your thread as I'm thinking about ttc again too. Our little peanut (also got preggo at the end of Jan) was born sleeping like 3 weeks ago at 18 weeks (still in a shock)... and my dream is nothing else but to be preggo again soon (as weird and bad it may sound).
My period hasn't come back yet and I also don't know what to expect.

Please update us if you took pg test and if (fingers crossed) you're preggo again.😉

So sorry to hear about your loss, and the difficult time after. I am in a very similar position. Two miscarriages, with most recent being in March, and found at a 10 week scan.

We have started trying again, I am currently 9dpo and have this weird dread/excitement about the thought of testing. I know I'll be happy for about 30 seconds, and then all the fears will come rushing back.

I had no symptoms in the TWW of my first pregnancy, and in the second I was feeling everything, was so sure that I was pregnant by 5dpo that the positive test wasn't even a surprise.

I think you just have to treat each pregnancy individually, so your cramps could absolutely mean something, or they could be AF coming. Do you know how many dpo you are? I would wait until you are absolutely sure that you would see a line if it was a new pregnancy. The uncertainty is often the worst bit about it all.

I finally got the confidence to do a pg test today and it's positive. Very different from last time with literally next to no symptoms and I am definitely nervous. Hopefully this one doesn't end badly... sending all my love

Now relax, get your folic acid and prenatals, install the pregnancy app and try to enjoy one day at a time... ah, and the booking in appointment.

Any idea how many weeks?
Don't worry if the symptoms don't come till 6-8 weeks. I used to get them around 8 weeks and they subsided at around 13-14 weeks in my 3 pregnancies (2 giving me my 2 healthy boys) .

I'm at the stage of thinking about ttc again still, keeping my husband away (I'm' not yet ready for intimacy even though I want to be pregnant again so bad!).
There's time for everything I guess.

Hello darling, my period was 28th May so I am thinking 3 weeks?? You should take your time and listen to your body and heart. I couldn't imagine intimacy the first 4 weeks after my mc. Everything felt so raw and broken and sad. But there will be time for joy and another miracle again. Hope it works out for you too, take the time you need! Just ordered all my prenatals and will be downloading the pregnancy app !! will be taking it one day at a time, and will definitely book a few early scans this time around.
