Ovulating after miscarriage - when?!?

I had an early loss three weeks ago. I am being impatient but I'm keen to try again and I still have not ovulated (using OPKs and I normally get lots of Ewcm so I'm 99% sure I have not ovulated yet!)

How long does it take to start ovulating again? I stopped bleeding over a week ago.

I'm breastfeeding to add that to the complicated situation - only once/twice a day now mind and never during the night. So hopefully the fact we have cut down loads should help too.

Anyone care to share how long it took them to start ovulating after a loss?

My early loss was between 6 and 7 weeks, and in terms of the cycle afterwards, it was as though the miscarriage bleeding was the period. I ovulated 2 weeks later as normal.

Thanks @Flederjo so was it two weeks after you started bleeding, or after you stopped?

@captainnopatience sorry to hear about your loss.
I had medical management for a mmc at 9 weeks on 24th March. The bleeding stopped completely for me in about 5 days.

I tracked my ovulation because I want to ttc again asap. I didn’t actually ovulate until cd23 (last Thursday) which is a good week late for me. I nearly gave up testing and thought it wasn’t going to happen, but I got a flashing smiley on clear blue on day 20 and then static smiley on day 22, so guessing I ovulated day 23.

I haven’t had a period since March given the pregnancy. So now just waiting for either a period, or fingers crossed a bfp.

@captainnopatience sorry mistake in the above, my mmc was 24th May not March!

Just checked my Fertility Friend data from last year, I got a positive OPK 2 weeks after starting with the red bleeding, so ovulated a day or 2 after that. So if the start of the bleeding was "CD1" I guess I ovulated CD15 or CD16

Hi I had a miscarriage in April and don't think I ovulated in May but I'm definitely this month as tests and CM is showing I currently am. Fingers crossed for you. Sorry for your loss x
