My period was due on the 15th but no sign of it arriving other than sore breasts I had some awful cramping to the point I was almost sick on the day before and day that my period was due yet no bleeding
I've come down with a cold literally over night
Pounding headache and stuffy but runny nose feel like I've been hit by a truck quite literally
Me and mr ex had not been using contraception but he has issues in that department and never seemed to be able to ejaculate and told me that he never had so I thought changed or pregnancy would be low with that
I did a test the day after my period was due and was negative
Possible conception dates would be - 27th may (was ovulating that day and didn't realise until after )
5th June , 7th June and 10th of June
I just don't have an explanation for suddenly being so I'll missed period and then a negative test

Sometimes periods are just late. How do you know you were ovulating on the 27th? If you were you would have had a period or a positive test by now.

I use flow and it tells you when you're ovulating

Being ill can delay your period.
How does flow decide your ovulation date? If it's based solely on your periods, it's only a guess. It's only accurate is you're taking your temperature or using ovulation tests.

Don't suppose you might have covid do you? The pounding headache and feeling like you've been hit by a truck are classic symptoms. Covid caused my period to be 8 days late x

husbandcallsmepickle · 18/06/2022 08:58

I was thinking Covid too

KatySp · 18/06/2022 12:11

The apps just guess ovulation based on whatever data you put in. If you want to know for sure you need to be using OPKs or temping. Not saying it's wrong but sometimes ovulation is just delayed for whatever reason and the app can't tell you that.

If you’re feeling unwell it can have an impact on your period making it be late. Have you been unwell earlier in the month?
Flo is a great app for tracking periods but from my experience it’s not reliable for telling you when you ovulate. It just works on a coding programme. Whenever Flo would say I was ovulating was wrong and i regularly ovulated nearly a week later.

I didn't find flow very accurate at all when I was TTC so you may be wrong on ovulation day. Negative tests after you're due is a good sign (sounds like you don't want to be pregnant). I'd be putting it down to being sick too. My period was mad late after my covid boost
