Its possible. I usually felt it about two weeks after

Karen999 · 14/01/2008 21:00

Oh God yes! I knew straight away when I was pregnant.....and this happened with both pregnancies!

,,, did you have all symptoms or did you just know ? and is it a complete waste of time doing a test ??

yes I knew all 4 times I was pregnant well before I could test - probably at 10 days before AF or maybe more. I can't explain it I just knew (a general feling of impending doom joy ).

Hope you get the result you are after

Karen999 · 14/01/2008 21:06

I knew straight away practically....it was the boobs that gave it away....my boobs feel completely different when I am pregnant and so I knew!

threemaybefour · 14/01/2008 21:09

Hmmm you see I would err on the definately pregnant side of things judging by how I feel ..but 'techically' its got to be fairly unlikely..suppose just going to have to wait and see (even though it is going to drive me looopy!)..

With all pgs I just knew - no symptoms until about 2 days before AF then the morning sickness set in.

There was no point in testing. With PG3 I knew I was pg, felt this urgency to tell all, prove it to all IYSWIM. I told my doc and she said I would never be able to know so early on. I tested 2 days before AF and got a positive. Lost her at 6-7 weeks. Wonder if that is why I just needed to prove to all so early on.

I remember so clearly when I first knew. I was putting DD2's outgrown clothes away when I came across a pretty denim dress hardly worn (both DDs rather tomboyish) and I looked down at my tummy and said 'that will suit you though won't it!' Suddenly thought, why did I say that? Then I just knew.

Took ages to get pregnant again after losing her (well not really but felt like a long time) just sort of wanted her back even though she was completely unplanned. This time we are expecting out first DS but I have kept the dress - just in case

Coby use the thread as much as you like... so sorry for your loss and Good Luck with your first DS..when are you due?
FWIW a mum from school asked a couple of days ago if she could 'borrow' my moses basket stand and in my head I thought 'I'm going to need that though!!'

threemaybefour thanks . I still feel she is around and find it easier as a result. I'm due in May - totally paranoid this time though (probably far too laid back with DD1 and 2 pregnancy tbh) but he is kicking away quite happily as I spend money we don't have on cute boy clothes on ebay .

The moses basket conversation sounds interesting. I shall keep my fingers crossed that you get the result you want. I know technically it's highly unlikely that you should be able to tell but I think there are certain things science has not discovered yet. My first 3 pgs were unplanned and I'm not entirely sure how they happened - it's not as if something obvious occurred to put us at risk that month IYSWIM - yet I still knew.

Beware though, I have known this to happen to someone before and they weren't pregnant in the end but within a month or two they were trying .

threemaybefour · 14/01/2008 22:02

yep part of me is thinking is this me 'wanting' another without really acknowledging it to myself IYSWIM..will find out in 10 days I suppose although will probably be out buying PG test well before then..

oh god yes I bet you will. Not really something you can just shrug off and put to the back of your mind is it? Hope you don't go through hell for the next 10 days suspecting every little twinge.

Didn't realise how lucky I was to not have to try for the first 3 - waiting to test sucks big time .

BabyBump2B · 16/01/2008 20:05

Hope you don't mind me jumping in here. This is my first post...

I too am having what I'm guessing are PG symptoms - VERY sore boobs which my DH says are fuller than normal and very tired...

Did a test early that was BFN but realistically too early to tell.

Was really just looking for reassurance/hope that I might actually be PG!!

Can test again this weekend - when can you other ladies test?

Tiggerish · 16/01/2008 20:12

I knew really early on with all my pgs - certainly 10 days before AF due. Just got a feeling - can't really specify what but I just knew (and we weren't trying either)

BabyBump2B · 17/01/2008 18:21

Did a test today (4 days before AF) and BFN - so incredibly disappointed.

Guess symptoms must be psychosomatic.... booo hiss....

wildwoman · 17/01/2008 18:26

I am feeling pregnant but I think thats just because I want to be so much...and I'm very impatient, we've only decided to ttc very recently

threemaybefour · 21/01/2008 11:20

oh well an update did test today (2 days before AF) and it was negative so I'm not then..not that I was planning to be really but well..now I'm thinking

I too am feeling pregnant - funny feeling in my stomach as if I'm either ovulating or getting period. No sore breasts tho - how long after conception did you get sore breasts?
