Hi ladies new on hear and looking for some advice, found out st 12 week scan babies heartbeat had stopped at 8+5 cut a long story short had medical miscarriage next day, one week later still testing positive snd losing clots had scan tissue remained, had d&c 2 weeks tomorrow, done test last week and came back negative, I'm still spotting but ne snd my hubby have dtd about 5 times since d&c (due to my age I'm 40 feel I have no time to waste), so yesterday and today my boobs are tingling like mad, just tested again came bak negative so my question is could I be pregnant would it be to early to show or could this be symptoms after d&c would I even be ovulating yet? Has anyone else similar age got pregnant so quick after d&c.

Hi OP- I had a MMC at start of last year, was 34. Had d and c as first treatment option. I took a pg test 10 days post op and it was still positive but very faint so I could see hcg was falling and i didnt bother to take anymore. I started getting my usual ovulation symptoms 2 weeks later so started doing OPKs and 16 days post op I got positive OPK. Dh and I DTD several times and I now have a 5 month old next to me. They say you are actually most fertile just after a pregnancy which is why they try and shove you onto contraception at 6 week postnatal check or in some hospitals they offer Implant to mums before they're even discharged. Hope you get your rainbow baby really soon xx
