I have started taking the seven seas trying for a baby vitamins this week, and I've been feeling a little nauseous on and off and wondered if it could be these that's causing it, I've binned the packaging to check side effects (if any) does anyone know if your supposed to take them after food? As I've been taking one a day pretty much as soon as I get up in a morning with a glass of water.

Thank you 🤍🤍

Generally it’s better to take multivitamins with food so your body will absorb them better.

One of my friends felt sick for the 12 weeks she was taking folic acid, so I wonder if it's that?

Oh did she @Bobduncan it could be that then as these vits do contain the recommended dose of folic acid, I'll just see how I get on and in the mean time take it with my breakfast and see if that eases the nausea x

@allthingssparkly are you ok? I noticed you on another post speaking about starting Microgynon the contraceptive pill? X

Hello @RMS0209 Yes I was going to start on it after a chat with the gp because I've been struggling with the pain when I'm on my period and things like paracetamol just don't take the edge off, I have been advised I can't take anti inflammatory meds like ibuprofen because of my asthma either, the doctor doesn't have a great deal to offer me. I just deal with it each cycle, she said the pill can sometimes help with pain but obviously until I was on it/built up in my system there would be no way before hand of me knowing that would definitely work. I also obviously want to try for a 3rd baby so going on the pill wouldn't help in that respect.

So the long and short of this is, I haven't made a decision yet the gp told me not to rush and just let her know when I'm ready/if I want to go ahead.

I have had a scan done a good few months back to check my uterus, ovaries ect making sure there was nothing abnormal and that came back all clear so I don't know what I'm/we are doing wrong. Maybe it's just time and the less I think and obsess about it the more likely it will happen. X
