New pregnancy?

Hey ladies. Appreciate the only way to definitely confirm this is to go to the doctors but as my period was only due yesterday I'd imagine they'll tell me to just wait a week and test again. So I had a miscarriage 5 weeks ago. This followed blood tests confirming signficant HCG level drop (to about 500 from over 1000 48 hours previously, after a scan diagnosed a PUL). I took LH tests and confirmed ovulation about 2 weeks ago. So my first period after the miscarriage was due yesterday (based on when LH peak was confirmed). No sign. Took a FRER and got what looks like a BFP. I don't have any real symptoms other than a little more tiredness (but nothing crazy). Appreciate its early days. Am I being optimistic thinking this is a new pregnancy or could my HCG levels still be this high 5 weeks on?

I would have been less than 5 weeks too I think. Never progressed beyond 2-3 on a digi and when I was scanned they could only locate a blip that may have been an attempt at a yolk sac.

Fingers crossed. The last one was my second MC (first was a MMC). Haven't even told DH yet about this BFP as I don't want to get his hopes up until I'm certain.

I would say new pregnancy too. Good luck @STom2 , I found out I was pregnant a month after I had an early miscarriage. It all worked out well so hope the same goes for you 🤞.

Thank you both. Well I just took a digi and it's saying Pregnant 2-3 weeks. That's gotta be a good sign. Will save the other one until next week and see if it progresses. 🙈🤞
