Brown discharge?

So I’m a day late on my period, I’m having brown discharge and I’m too scared to test.

has anyone had brown discharge and a BFP? I can’t face the disappointment rn 😩

I'm going through the same right now, I've been spotting brown for 4 days, cramps too, normally AF would have come by now. Trying not to get my hopes up too much xx

Brown discharge can be the start of your period and is also the sign of old blood.
Id take a test to check!

Looks a bit faint if you're a day late. I would retest. I had brown discharge/ very light bleeding with 2 out of 4 pregnancies.

Possibly, though that's only usually the case when a woman has irregular periods. If you have a regular cycle, it normally shows up more clearly. I'm not saying she's definitely not pregnant, just that I'd want a more conclusive test before I got my hopes up. With all my pregnancies, I've only ever had a line that faint when testing around 4 days before the due period, or if testing after, I've gone on to have what I assume was a chemical pregnancy. All my 4 successful pregnancies I had dark lines around the missed period mark, but of course we're all different, I'm just going off my own experience.

I thought it looked faint too. With my first it was a darker line then that before my period was due…
also the cross bit, the horizontal line is quite grey? The faint vertical line does have a little colour though 🤔

Brown discharge is usually the sign of old blood. It’s normal for it to happen at the beginning or end of your period. I’d you suspect your pregnant take a test but it could just be your period about to start

Hello iv has the copper coil for 3 years now no problems at all I always get my period same time every month but now I am 11 days late with cramps iv taking pregnancy test and its negative iv been to gp he done urine test and it came back that I had a urine infection but that still shouldn't stop my period was wondering could it interfere with a pregnancy test ore has any one els experience what I'm going threw thanks

When I previously had a UTI it did impact my period as I was unwell, stressed and on antibiotics , all things that can delay and impact your period. If you’re still having negative tests and unwell then please go back to your gp to get fully checked over.

Iv got 2 kids but my period has be normal with the iud always come same time for past 3 years never had any problems very unusual for me was wondering could a urine infection give a fauls negative test ?

It’s unlikely it would cause a false result especially if you’re 11 days late. It might be possible that you’re periods are changing

i can’t remember if this was the time I conceived or the month after… but I am pregnant and due to give birth soon 🤣

Congratulations!! TMI PIC WARNING. I had pink discharge yesterday and then progressed to brown spotting about 3am today and still no red. 2 days before I'm due on yet have preg symptoms as well, especially sore nips. Do I still have a chance if no AF?
