TTC whilst BF, with PCOS, by charting

Hi all 👋🏼

I have a DS already who is 25mo and still BF regularly - few times in the day, to get to sleep at nap/bedtime and a couple of times in the night.
sometimes he tells me there’s nothing coming out and other times I can hear there’s still plenty going in!

DH and I have decided to try for baby 2 and have been half heartedly trying since Jan.

I’ve started tracking again but it’s hard with random wake ups in the night/morning to get an accurate temperature, so my chart is like the rocky mountains. Im also suffering with PCOS symptoms and irregular cycles! I'm not really sure how to do this effectively, last time took over 2 years and all my time and attention!

any tips? Advice? Knowledge would be gratefully received!

thanks for taking the time to read this far!

Are you doing anything else to track?

Temping only really confirms ovulation has happened and by the time it's confirmed it's too late. The egg only survives around 24 hours so you need to make sure there's sperm there waiting for the egg. Have you tried OPKs?

@username2023 i also do OPKs but the + usually ends a couple of days before my temp confirms ovulation, I also used to get an ovulation dip, but my Rocky Mountains is making that difficult to see 😔
I used to also monitor my resting heart rate, but because I’m BF I get random peaks instead of just when I’m ovulating.
