CM starting to go creamy now, this is the worst part now! AF due on 17th June

Had sex only on day of and day after ovulation as we weren't going to try this month but decided to just take it a bit more chilled!

5 dpo here! We tried smep for the first time this cycle. I'm trying not to get my hopes up but I do feel hopeful!

Hey! I'm 4DPO today, also have lots of creamy CM. Trying not to let myself test too early this month but know I'll probably cave and use some cheapies at the weekend because I can't help myself

I'm 3dpo and also have creamy cm which means I've definitely ovulated! @Tropicana1 I'll be testing at the weekend too as I can't help myself 😂😂

@Sponge19 yes days past ovulation! Eek we're all close close together! When are we all testing ??

@itsnearlymytime interesting - I barely got any CM last month after my EWCM and my temp rise was only 0.2 rather than usual 0.4 so now I'm wondering if I actually ovulated at all? Didn't realise the link between creamy CM and ovulation.

Glad I'm not early testing alone 😂

@Tropicana1 oh really? I usually use OPK but haven't this month as I get obsessed! But I've checked my CM for the past 3 months now and every time I have EWCM up until ovulation, the day after ovulation it goes creamy and that's what's happened again this month!

Gah I would test now if I could, I'm symptom spotting already 😂

SMEP is an abbreviation for sperm meets egg plan. You BD every other other day from CD 8 and then 3 days in a row when you get a positive opk then skip a day then once more for good luck. I was exhausted by the end 😂

Lots of people seem to have success with the method so here's hoping. We've been trying for so long!!

I'll prob test 9 dpo as I'm supposed to be meeting some friends for drinks that night. I also need to start meds the second I get bfp.

@Passenger87 oh gosh that does sound exhausting!! 🙈 we've only DTD three times this month, probably not enough but I hate it feeling like a chore but it's gonna have to be soon I think xx

@itsnearlymytime we've only done 3 times this month too 🤦🏼‍♀️ only twice in fertile week so not reallly feeling too optimistic

@Tropicana1 which days did you go for (as in how close to ovulation) you never know I think if you're doing it around your ovulation time maybe we have a chance ? Xx

According to clear blue & Flo which I actually went off when I got pregnant when I was 18, I ovulated Saturday

We DTD Friday afternoon, Saturday morning at around 1am and Sunday morning at 1am!

@itsnearlymytime 4 days before and the day before ovulation so probably only the day before one giving much chance!

Sperm can live up to 5 days though! You could've had sperm waiting! I'm praying it's worked this month I can't deal with the constantly watching videos about it hahaha xx

3 times would be our normal. But we've been trying so long now and the clock is ticking. SMEP is tough I found. It kinda takes the romance out of bd

I have endometriosis and last year we had a mmc pregnancy so every month the 2ww ends up getting to me.

But I figure im only creating negative energy with the bfps from testing too early so this month I'm determined to hold off!!

@itsnearlymytime I came off the pill on October 2021 but didn’t start tracking my cycles and DTD in my fertile window until March so this is my 4th cycle. It’s the first month I have tried doing BBT as well. Trying lots of things as getting impatient ha!

@Jod30 oh okay! it can take a few months for your cycle to regulate coming off the pill is that right?

Ooh I haven't tried tracking BBT yet! Have you got any symptoms or Anything? i know it's early but I feel shattered x

@itsnearlymytime I took 6 weeks to have a period but they have been pretty regular since December - Between 28-32 days. I’m quite tired too but I feel like that could be from a busy bank holiday weekend. I think I’m going to test on Sunday!

@Jod30 oh that's actually really quick!! Seen some people not get regular periods for a while so that's great!!

You're probably right, same for me! Need to stop over thinking 🙈

@itsnearlymytime it’s hard not to symptom spot.. I’m with you on that! I am ravenous but I probably have a stretched stomach from over indulging!
