Pregnacare conception lengthily cycle

I've been using the flo app for several years to track my period, and my cycle length is generally 28d on average, with a range of 26-30d. I've started taking pregnacare conception tablets, with the plan being to start TTC.

I am currently on day 32 of this cycle, and my period hasn't started (I started to get the usual signs for me around 25/28d), but then not actually come on. I've taking a pregnancy test this morning, and it's negative. I'm assuming this is just the tablets messing my cycle up? I've heard they can make it longer?

Anyone have any experience of how long this tends to be for, is my next cycle more likely to be normal length? And, any suggestions are using OPKs this coming cycle and the timing of that, as feel a 32d+ cycle will have thrown out my normal as to when I would do these? Thanks

Hi, I’ve been taking these for all of two days so I don’t know the answer. Plus I’m on the pill so I don’t get normal cycles anyway.

What I can say is that none of the reviews on Amazon mentioned that pregnacare had made their cycles longer and I don’t expect it to change anything for me.

I’m sorry if that’s not very helpful but I’m looking for more information on pregnacare and could see that there have been no answers on this thread. Best of luck with ttc and I hope your cycles go back to normal. Maybe the anticipation of ttc has made you stressed? That can lengthen cycles.

@cat234 I'm experiencing the same thing when TTC and taking the Pregnacare tablets. I just wondered what you experienced and when your AF came back, as your original post was a fair few months ago? Thank you!

I’m experiencing the exact same thing. 2 months of taking pregncare conception and this month I’m late by 9 days so far. Won’t take them again. I’ll stick with just Folic Acid
anyones cycle normalised after a while?

My cycles did normalise after a couple of months. We did however have issues conceiving, started taking various other supplements, including coenzyme Q10, which then caused spotting mid cycle for a few months, which the settled down as well, so seems like maybe I was sensitive to things affecting my cycle.

Hello,
I have been taking pregnacare conception for a week or so now and my period is now late by 7 days so far. I have horrendous pain on my left and right side going into my back, constipation, bloating and just generally feeling unwell. I have taken pregnancy tests but they are all negative. I have been TTC for over 2 years now.
After reading through a few articles I am convinced it is because of these tablets. I just really hope my period comes soon and I am now worried what these tablets have done to my cycles.
I don’t know whether to carry on taking the tablets in case they are ‘resetting’ my cycle in a good way or stop taking them. Does anyone have any advice please?
