Will be TTC in coming months after miscarriage and am 35. Interested to hear people's recommendations and tips for good vitamins to take aside from the standard preconception multivitamin. Eg probiotics, extra vitamin D, coQ10, omega 3? I've read so many different things but don't want to overdo it so would be great to get thoughts, especially if it's worked for you or you've had advice from experienced professionals. Thanks!

For me:
-prenatal multivitamin with 600mcg folic acid
-extra 400mcg folic acid
-probiotic capsules
-omega 3 (actually included with the prenatal vits)
-soy isoflavones to aid ovulation and estrogen
-grapefruit juice CD1 till ovulation for EWCM
-(baby aspirin and progesterone after miscarriage)

For him:
-bog standard multivitamin
-probiotic capsules
-omega 3
-L-carnitin to boost sperm

I use pregnacare preconception vits, omega 3 (cheap from lidl!), extra vitamin d, evening primrose oil for ewcm. I've also started eating healthier to increase my folate naturally - Asparagus, brocoli, citrus fruit etc. I listened to It Starts with the Egg after a MMC so trying to follow elements of that - won't necessarily make any difference, but makes me feel better for trying!

If you get omega 3 capsules separately, ideally get them without added Vitamin E. I think it's added as a preservative or something, not entirely sure.but your prenatal vitamins probably also have vitamin E and it's something you shouldn't take too much of in pregnancy.
