Hi everyone,

I’m currently ttc after having a miscarriage at 9 weeks in March. I’ve been monitoring my cycle on both my phone via the health app and with Flo. According to my phone app, yesterday was high fertility but according to Flo, my fertile period had passed. Does anybody else either or, and what’s your experience please?

Do you put any info in, such as OPK, BBT or cervix data?

Just my dates and cervical mucus, I’m sure I had ovulation discharge yday (sorry TMI) but Flo doesn’t adjust based on your symptoms, just dates it seems.

I would only use the apps to track my periods.
Use OPKs and temping to predict and confirm ovulation.

Then the apps will just calculate based on an average 14 day luteal phase. Based on how long you're using them they will learn about your cycle length but will never be able to pinpoint ovulation, sorry... And no TMI here ;)
You could maybe use OPK for a month, so you will know how long your luteal phase actually is, because that rarely changes.

Ah amazing, thanks so much for your help. So with the ovulation sticks, there will always be a faint line and as ovulation approaches, I will notice it getting darker?

Yes. Although they can vary, getting darker and lighter, but once you hit peak the line is as dark or even darker than zhe control line. That's your peak. You will then ovulate in the next one to two days. OPKs can't tell you if you really ovulated though. But you got pregnant once so I think you are okay in that segment. I am really sorry for your loss by the way!
